Fire Safety

Precautions Before Fire:

Have the gas installation periodically checked. It is important that your installation is checked and necessary maintenance is carried out by authorized companies at least once a year.
Learn where gas valves are and know how to use them. You need to know how to close valves when you smell gas or a fire starts.
Use a gas alarm device. Have a gas alarm device that alerts you in case of gas leakage.
Do not keep flammable or explosive materials at home. Keep flammable and explosive materials away from your home, which could trigger a fire in case of a gas leak.
Teach children about gas installations and the use of natural gas. Prevent children from playing with gas valves and fire.

Precautions to be taken during fire:

Stay calm and don't panic.
Close the gas valves. If possible, turn off the main gas valve in the building and the valve in the fire area.
Ensure building evacuation. Evacuate the fire area and building immediately.
Report the fire to the fire department and emergency services.
Do not intervene in the fire. Responding to natural gas fires is dangerous. Do not try to extinguish the fire and wait for the fire department.
Warn your neighbors. Also inform people living in nearby buildings about the fire.
